Kids Eat Free this summer
With the summer holidays just around the corner, The Peacock at Owler Bar is the perfect place to relax and refuel after a day of exploring.
From Monday to Saturday until the end of August, kids can enjoy a free main course when dining with an adult purchasing two courses or our new summer set menu.
Perfectly located for families (and four-legged friends) heading into the Peak District, our Grade II listed country pub offers a chance to enjoy fresh dishes made from scratch, crafted with premium local ingredients – without breaking the bank.
Summer set menu – seasonal favourites at great value
Celebrate the flavours of a Peak District summer, with our carefully curated set menu, available Monday to Saturday. Featuring a selection of our most-loved dishes, it showcases the best ingredients of the season and the creativity of our talented kitchen team, under the guidance of group executive chef, Adrian Gagea.
Choose 2 courses for £21.95 or 3 courses for £26.95, with plenty of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options to suit all tastes and dietary needs.
Fish Frydays
There’s no better way to end the working week than a stop off at The Peacock at Owler Bar for the indulgent and comforting British tradition of Fish and Chips on a Friday!
Wrap up the week with the comforting tradition of Fish Fryday, every Friday from midday – starting 18th July.
For just £17.95, enjoy our gluten-free fish and chips, served with minted mushy peas, homemade tartare sauce and your choice of selected beer, wine, fizz, or non-alcoholic alternative.
Our fish is sourced locally from RG Morris and Sons, battered in our own Longbow IPA brewed by Thornbridge Brewery and paired with hand-peeled, triple-cooked chips. It’s a weekly tradition worth making.
