What do we need?
We are looking for an Events Supervisor to join our team at The Maynard, Grindleford. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service, a knack for leading a dynamic team and committed to excellence, then we want to meet you!
About the job:
Working together with the wedding and events team you will:
- Assist with the running of events, taking a leading role in ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Leading the team in creating a memorable experience.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, where each team member feels valued and empowered.
- Ensure that our guests receive an unparalleled experience through attentive service and impeccable presentation.
- Set up and arrange our Chatsworth Suite for weddings, private parties, conferences and other events according to the event calendar.
- Assist with moving, organizing, and storing equipment, furniture, and décor.
- Sort, stock, and replenish supplies and inventory as needed.
- Ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and ready for events.
- Support the events team with any additional tasks as required, including minor maintenance or logistics.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including manual handling
A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry and a solid understanding of operations within the hospitality industry.
Due to the rural location and nature of this role the successful applicant will need to have access to their own vehicle.
