Longbow Shortlisted in the Generation Next Awards 2024

Longbow Venues has been shortlisted in four categories of the upcoming Generation Next Awards.

 

Organised by East Midlands Chamber in partnership with the University of Derby, the Generation Next Awards stand as a prominent fixture in the annual calendar for young professionals. This year, 12 categories will honour individuals under 35.

 

Longbow Venues has been nominated and shortlisted in the following categories;

 

  • Stephen Atkinson – Customer Service
  • Stephen Atkinson – Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Jemima Prater (The Maynard) – Rising Star
  • Investing in Young Talent Award – a new award designed to commend businesses fostering mentorship, training, and growth opportunities for young professionals

 

Stephen, Jemima and Jack Arksey (talent and succession manager) will face a virtual panel as part of the judging process before the final on July 4th at The Box in Nottingham.

 

Over 90% of team members at Longbow Venues fall in the under 35 age bracket. Our whole team are delighted to have been recognised in the awards for our work with young people and our commitment to fostering new talent, development and internal progression.
