Four Peak District venues from Longbow Venues have been recognised at the Westside and Southside Restaurant & Bar Awards 2026, celebrating excellence across the region’s hospitality industry.
The awards ceremony, held at OEC Sheffield, brought together members of the Longbow Venues team to celebrate an outstanding achievement, with four venues taking home awards across a range of categories.

The Peacock at Rowsley – Best Hotel Restaurant
Set in the heart of the Peak District, The Peacock at Rowsley has been recognised for its exceptional hotel restaurant. Combining historic character, understated luxury and outstanding dining, this boutique destination offers guests a memorable experience in a beautiful countryside setting.
The Maynard – Best Sunday Roast
A dedication to one of Britain’s best-loved dining traditions has earned The Maynard the award for Best Sunday Roast. Showcasing quality ingredients from trusted local suppliers, its sumptuous roasts bring together comforting classics, carefully prepared dishes and exceptional flavour.
The Charleston – Best Newcomer
Bakewell’s exciting new destination, The Charleston, has been named Best Newcomer. Opening in June 2026, the venue has brought a fresh energy to the town’s dining and nightlife scene, combining fabulous food, stylish cocktails and live jazz to create a vibrant setting for memorable evenings out.
The Ashford Arms – Best Bistro
The Ashford Arms has taken home the award for Best Bistro, recognising its appeal as a premium yet welcoming country pub. With a menu that champions delicious dishes and high-quality local produce, it offers a relaxed dining experience where great food and warm hospitality go hand in hand.
