Longbow Venues is a collection of restaurants, hotels and wedding spaces across the Peak District and we’re looking for a Marketing Copywriter to join our marketing team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced writer looking for a flexible part-time role, with the chance to work across six distinctive hospitality venues.

You’ll be responsible for creating and refining the words behind our marketing from engaging blogs and newsletters to website copy, menus and promotional materials.

What you’ll be doing

• Writing engaging blogs for our venues and website.
• Creating copy for newsletters and email campaigns.
• Writing website, promotional and campaign copy.
• Proofreading menus, digital content and marketing materials.
• Checking spelling, grammar, pricing, dates and other key information.
• Adapting your writing style to reflect the personality of each Longbow venue.
• Supporting the wider marketing team with copy for offer, packages and seasonal campaigns.
• Keeping written content fresh, accurate and engaging.
• Bringing new ideas and creative thinking to our marketing.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Has a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
• Can write in different tones and for different audiences.
• Is creative, confident and organised.
• Can manage deadlines and multiple pieces of work.
• Has previous experience in copywriting, marketing, communications or a similar role.
• Has an interest in hospitality, food, drink, travel or lifestyle.

Desirable but not essential: experience with email marketing, websites, hospitality/food & drink brands.

The working pattern

We want this to be a genuinely flexible part-time role.

You’ll work 15 hours across three days, with one day based in our office to work alongside the marketing team. The remaining hours can be worked from home or from one of our venues.

We’re happy to discuss how the three days are structured with the right candidate.

£15 per hour | 15 hours per week
